Philip-of-Macedon-plaque
Philip of Macedon was father of Alexander the Great and architect of the powerful Macedonian phalanx which later conquered the Persian Empire. It is him that elevated the Macedonians into a leading nation in Europe after having defeated all neighboring lands and annexed them to Macedonia. He defeated the Illyrians, the Thracians, the Greeks, the Scythians, and Triballians.
